Another dark and marvelous creation by Director and Producer Dee Meaden and her trusty team of talented film makers.

This time it showcases a very unusual story of a brother and sister living in a claustrophobic world where there is something very wrong outside. For me as sound designer its been an absolute joy to work on this picture. It has been the perfect balance of combining subtle tensions and atmospheres with bold and immersive sounds and textures with a strong hold on storytelling and expanding on what we don’t always see but can only hear and feel.

Its always a great privilege to bring a worthy sonic landscape to such a fascinating and unusual story and I have no doubt that it will inspire its audience at home and abroad. We are wishing Dee and her team all the best of success at the festivals and look forward to the next one.

Lambda Films

When Lambda Films asked us to provide the sound design for their animation campaign on Active Norfolk and the John Innes Centre, it was an opportunity not to be missed. Creative Director Ryan Stone and his talented animator Millie Woodcock had masterfully constructed a spectacular world of original characters and landscapes, rendered to pixelated perfection. The mixture of real world backdrops, with animated characters, gave us a nice spread of ideas and inspiration to work from in the sound domain. A lot of fresh recordings were made to support the unique moves and actions. There was no shortage of visual pops, bangs and transformations, to keep the sound design on its feet and the narrative moving forward. Animation remains well and truly a joy to work in every time, and we certainly look forward to a productive 2015 working with Ryan and his team at Lambda Films in the heart of Norwich.
